Folktales of India – Tales from Kerala – Dosas for the Demon

An abridged version of the famous folktale. Dosas for the demon revolves around Kerala’s most favourite dish – The Dosa. Its a story about a poor couple who, by luck receive a pot of dosa batter… and a demon who longs for some of it as well… This folktale has been illustrated in a style inspired by the Tholpavakoothu shadow puppetry popular in the Palakkad, Thrissur and Malappuram districts of Kerala.
